Taking a very
serious view of police highhandedness and excesses, PPO Sindh,
Dr. Shoaib Suddle, has suspended Sub-Inspector Abdul Mannan
Dahani, SHO Mianjo Goth, District Shikarpur. PPO Sindh has also
ordered initiation of departmental proceedings against the
delinquent officer with the directions to DIG Larkana that the
proceedings should be finalized within four weeks.
It is worth
reporting that the PPO got conducted a preliminary enquiry
against the alleged SHO on complaint of Mr. Lutfullah and Mr.
Maharullah Somoro, alleging that the SHO had falsely implicated
them in a criminal case because they had a dispute over
possession of a piece of land with the brother of alleged SHO.
The enquiry found that the allegations against the SHO were
correct. PPO Sindh has once again warned that instances of
police highhandedness and criminality will be dealt with
effectively. Any officer involved in such malpractices will not
be spared.
